Hospitals
Look@MyBaby offers live web camera telehealth solutions and related services to enable remote access virtual baby and hospital visits for parents, family and friends.
We also offer on-site local viewing solutions for hospitals to cater for physical visitors on the hospital campus where best practice infection control restricts access to NICU and other special care environments.
Look@MyBaby is only available at our partner hospitals.

Hospitals with Look@MyBaby offer their maternity patients the latest technology to share the joy of the first few days of a newborn baby's arrival in hospital. Family and friends can be introduced to the baby via live private video no matter where they are located and without having to physically attend the hospital. It is the
Virtual Baby Visit.
There is no integration required with the Hospital's own IT services and there
are no administration, billing or other obligations on the Hospital.
Benefits to the Hospital include:
- A richer in-hospital experience for all new parents and their family and friends
who would not otherwise be able to meet newborn babies in the first hours and
days after birth.
- Less interruptions from actual visitors in person which affords greater infection
control, greater time for the parents to bond with their baby, and less disruption to hospital midwifery
duties.
- A new revenue stream.
Parents of babies requiring longer hospital stays in special
care nursery and NICU can be offered the therapeutic and other benefits of being able to connect with their baby even when separated physically.
Look@MyBaby can be offered to parents still in hospital when they are apart from their baby, or access can be given to parents at home subject to hospital access protocols.
Look@MyBaby helps reduce the stress and anxiety for parents from separation by allowing them to bond meaningfully in real time. It also helps new mother's with their let down reflex and provides daily logistical advantages in reducing the need for travel to and from the hospital. Siblings and other family members are also afforded the opportunity to meet and bond with the new baby.
The Look@MyBaby solution is carefully designed to ensure the privacy of patients
and hospital staff. There is no audio transmission. There is no recording of the live video other than when requested specifically and in accordance with hospital protocols.
Day to day administration is simple and convenient with no additional burden on
midwifery or administrative staff. Look@MyBaby is an independent managed service with discrete customer service, technical and hospital liaison staff who take care of everything directly with parents, families and invited guests.
Occupational Health & Safety and Infection Control expert assessments
are available.
"Not sure why someone has not thought of it before. Look@MyBaby is a great addition to our unit. The mums in special care really love it. In the middle of the night from home they can connect with their little one at a touch of the button and the separation does not seem so bad. Some mums have said they even express more milk whilst connecting with their baby on Look@MyBaby. We don't have to sell it to our couples - it sells itself.
Leah (Nurse Unit Manager)
"If we could introduce Look@MyBaby to every baby we could do away with visitors. Mothers would get more rest, babies would be more settled and they wouldn't have to contribute to "pass the parcel" for at least a week or so, which can only benefit the baby and mother.""
Chris (Midwife)
"Look@MyBaby is the best thing to come to our maternity ward since flowers!"
John (Hospital CEO)
